Our February speaker will be Dr. Bill Fowler who will present a program titled “Fluorescence in Fossils.” Dr. Fowler studied fluorescence as part of his graduate work in chemistry at the University of Florida. He will bring to the meeting a UV light and some of the fossil specimens covered in the talk for viewing after the presentation. Hoover Public Library, Meeting Room A at 7:30pm.
