The Birmingham Historical Society will be having their annual Meeting on February 26, 2024 at the Botanical Gardens Auditorium in Birmingham, Alabama.  Their keynote speaker is Dr. Deutsch, who wrote the book Ancient Life in Alabama - The Fossils, The Finders & Why It Matters.  This talk is titled "A Walk Through Deep Time".

Several members of BPS are mentioned in the book, including our founder, James Lamb, Chase Egli, and Ricky Mims.

The book will be available for sale and for autographs after the meeting.

Members of BPS and the general public are invited.  (P.S. They will also have a cake contest if you would like to enter!)
