Our speaker for November is Dr. Fred Andrus, Professor of Geology and Department Chair in Geological Sciences at the University of Alabama. Dr. Andrus will speak on “Fossil Growth and Chemistry as Windows into Past Climate and Ecology.”

This hands-on Fossils of the Black Belt teacher workshop is a fun way to get CEU credits. It will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2017 near Selma, Alabama. Details regarding location will be sent to each participant. The workshop will run from 8:30 until 4:30 pm.
