Our speaker for March will Dr. Ron Buta, Professor of Astronomy at the University of Alabama. Dr. Buta will present "Footprints in Stone: The Wonder of Alabama's Coal-Age Trace Fossils" which will include the history of trackway discovery and collecting in Alabama, types of trackways found, the evidence for a possible megatracksite in Alabama, and what it means for Alabama paleontology.
