It turned out to be a gorgeous, warm day to hunt for Cretaceous Period Marine fossils on private property. Thanks to both, Dr. James Lamb and the site property owner for allowing us to hunt this day. The property owner goes all out by cutting a trailway for our vehicles that is deep within the forested property. Thank you! It was a warm and gorgeous day for a hunt. The water temperature was just right, and the canopy of trees blocked out most of the blistering sunshine. Many cool fossils and artifacts were found today, teeth from the Goblin, Crow, and Cretalamna shark. Fish and ray teeth were found, as well as a highly prized partial fish jaw with teeth! A great time was had by all, and many spectacular fossils were found. This site is a favorite of many members of BPS. We look forward to next year's visit!
