July 13, 2024 - Cretaceous - Montgomery County, AL
BPS members got to visit a creek that is regularly on our list each year. The times we've visited the water levels were usually too high to traverse. Fortunately this time it was low enough to collect Cretaceous marine fossils by the BPS members. Not many brave souls showed up for this because it was either too hot, typical Alabama summer day or had other plans. Great finds were discovered today by several members. It's a great creek to go to with a variety of fossils to be found and look forward to going to it every year!
