The next regular meeting of the BPS is Monday, November 1, 2010, 7-9 pm at the McWane Science Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Jun Ebersole and Mike Goodson will present a program on "Dowsing Rods: Fact or Fiction".  Though most people are skeptical of its effectiveness, many construction workers, well diggers, and geologists use this technique to find underground streams and pipes on construction sites.  It is also sometimes used to find buried gemstones, gravesites, and oil deposits. So put your skepticism aside for one night, listen to both sides of the argument, and see if this technique will work for you!
