Tonight's meeting will be our Annual Meeting, where members will vote for Officers, Directors, and Committee Chairs, followed by an installation ceremony. The business meeting will start at 6:30 pm by request of the members. There will not be a formal program tonight, though James Lamb may fill us in on some of his recent paleo activities.
All are welcome, members expected.

Our speaker for December is James Lamb, Director of the Black Belt Museum at the University of West Alabama. He will be speaking on “What happened in the world of paleontology in 2018.” Hoover Public Library, Fitzgerald Room. Free and open to the public.
BPS participated in the National Fossil Day exhibit on the campus of the University of Alabama, in Tuscaloosa.

Our speaker for November is Dr. Andy Rindsberg, Associate Professor of Environmental Geology and Paleontology at the University of West Alabama, who will speak on “Herbert and Daisy Smith, collectors from Amazon to Alabama.” Hoover Public Library, Fitzgerald Room. Free and open to the public.
